Our approach reimagines simple ingredients into layered creations, ensuring every glass delivers character, consistency, and a refined drinking experience within our Bingley setting.

At 99&Main, we extend the experience beyond the bar with engaging offerings. Our Masterclass invites groups to learn techniques alongside expert bartenders, including a welcome drink and creating two cocktails. Bottomless Brunch runs across weekends, featuring Brunch Punch, Mimosa, or a Bloody Mary for 90 minutes. We also host occasions from relaxed evenings to private celebrations, shaping each visit into a memorable and social experience.
Distinctive signatures, refined classics, and mindful alternatives
Professor Jerry Thomas, 'the father of mixology' changed drinks forever with "How to mix drinks (The Bon-Vivant's companion)" in 1862. This seminal work on cocktails was the first published drinks book and is still heavily referenced by bartenders and mixologists to this day.

History Of Cocktails
​
PUNCH (PRE-1632):
One of sour, two of sweet, three of strong, four of weak, with the fifth element, spice, added to taste gets its name from the Hindi word for five 'Punch' & is the first ever cocktail.
​
HIGHBALL (1767):
Soda is invented locally by Joseph Priestley & used to lengthen alcohol.
​
FLIP (1695):
Originally Beer based, heated with Sugar, Eggs & spices. Modern versions are cold & made with Liquor
​
SLING (1790):
Sugar & on occasion, Lemon are added to a highball.
​
JULEP (1803):
Originally Persian, a tall drink with Mint & Sugar served over crushed ice.
​
COLLINS (1800):
Sugar, Water, Soda & ice are added to spirits, served in a 14oz 'collins' glass.
​
RICKEY (1880):
Shorter than a Collins, 8oz, with Lime not Lemon & no Sugar.
​
COBBLER (1838):
Containing a variety of fruits, the most popular drink of the late 1800's
​
SOUR (1856):
The addition of citrus, usually Lemon, to a flip.
​
FIZZ (1887):
Short 8oz & carbonated with citrus & Sugar without ice.
​
MOJITO (1862):
The 16th century Mint, Lime & Rum recipe got its name.
​
DAISY (1876):
A sour where the Sugar is replaced with Grenadine.
​
FIX (1876):
A Sour made with Pineapple, sometimes in the place of Sugar.
​
SMASH (1862):
Similar to the Julep but shorter, sometimes with Basil.
​
BRAMBLE (1984):
Dick Bradsell creates his overtly British classic by perfecting the Daisy.

G&T (1894):
The quinine used to fight malaria has Water, Sugar, Lime & Gin added by British soldiers.

Long drinks
​
Mojito:
Made famous by Facundo Bacardi in the 1860s, the forerunner to the Mojito was the El Draque, invented by Sir Francis Drake in 1586 after pirates invaded Cuba.
Classic, British Berry, Watermelon
​
Bloody Mary:
A rich infusion of vodka, spices and tomato juice. Widely believed to have been invented in Paris in the 1920's by a man named Fernand Petiot. The drink was originally called 'bucket of blood' and is thought to be the perfect hangover cure.
​
Singapore Sling:
One of the most famous cocktails in the world was created in 1911 by Ngiam Tong Boon at The Long Bar in the Raffles Hotel, Singapore. Of the many recipes in existence, we've opted for Gin, Pineapple Juice and Grenadine.
​
Long Island Iced Tea:
A classic cooler that peaked in popularity in the 1980's, Some date it back to the prohibition era. A blend of Vodka, Gin, Tequila, Rum and Triple sec, this is a cocktail jam packed with flavour and strength.
​
Dark 'N' Stormy:
Goslings Black Seal Rum is combined with Lime and laid over Ginger Beer to create this refreshing fan favourite cocktail.
Straight Up

OLD CUBAN:
Similar to a Daiquiri, Rum and Lime are combined. The difference is this drink features Appleton Estate 8 Rum which is a blend of Rums that have been aged for over 8 years in Bourbon barrels.

WHITE LADY:
A balanced drink of Gin, Liqueur and Lemon hitting all the right notes balancing botanicals with sweet and tart citrus. Contains Egg Whites but can be made without upon request.

DRAGON LADY:
Exotic, elegant, and unapologetically bold, the Dragon Lady is a cocktail that commands attention. Gin meets the vibrant sweetness of dragon fruit & mango syrup and the citrusy brightness of lemon. This striking cocktail is as smooth as it is fierce—perfect for those who like their drinks with a little mystique. Contains Egg Whites

VIOLET SKIES:
Created by one of our bartenders, the Violet skies is a modern take on the legendary Aviation Cocktail. Gin and Egg Whites are combined creating a silky-smooth texture with a floral Violet finish.

MARGARITA:
There are many people who claimed to invent the Margarita, but it is likely to have its origins as a twist on a Daiquiri. A Tequila based drink packed with citrus.

ODE TO LILT:
A refined nod to a classic. Bright grapefruit and lime meet smooth rum, lifted with subtle cherry notes and balanced sweetness for a fresh citrus-led serve.

CARIBBEAN NIGHTS :
Fruity and refreshing, with a touch of magic. Give this Caribbean-inspired serve a stir and watch it shift from blue to a rich purple, like the ocean at night. Made with blue curaçao, white rum and lemonade. Topped with watermelon Liqueur.

FLORA-DORA:
Light, floral and refreshing. Hendrick's Flora Adora paired with fresh lime and raspberry. Topped with ginger beer for a crisp sparkling finish.

GIN & JAM:
Elegant, sweet yet tart. Think English breakfast in a glass. A perfect serve for gin and jam lovers. Crafted with marmalade gin, raspberry conserve and fresh lemon juice. Contains egg white

On The Rocks

CAIPIRINHA:
Brazil's chief export and arguably the most consumed cocktail in the world, this 'little countryside drink' contains Cachaca and Lime with plenty of crushed ice.
​
SOUR:
The first record of a Sour appears in 1856. It's essentially a scaled down Punch (the very first cocktail) and contains Lemon, Sugar and egg whites. We can make a Sour with your desired spirit.
​AMARETTO ,WHISKEY, PISCO, NEW YORK SOUR

BRAMBLE:
Created in 1984 as a distinctly British drink, best described as a spring cocktail bringing together Gin and Lemon.
​
MOSCOW MULE:
Born in the 1940's, the Moscow Mule took root as part of a marketing campaign by a fledgling Vodka company. Any Guesses to which company. A refreshing mixture of Vodka and Ginger Beer.
​
MAI TAI:
The name means 'Out of this world' in Tahitian, Which is exactly how this Rum and Orange Liqueur cocktail tastes.
​
RED VELVET:
Created by one of our bartenders, this drink is one of a kind. Koko Kanu Rum, Strawberry, Coconut and Egg Whites are combined creating a silky-smooth texture with a vibrant red colour.
​
SATURN:
A Tiki-influenced Gin Sour with Passionfruit and Almond flavours. Can be served straight up or on the rocks
​
TURKISH DELIGHT:
Taking inspiration from the fragrant jelly sweet and packed with sweet Rose and Violet flavours, perfectly balanced against Rosa bitters and dry Brandy.
​
NEGRONI:
First concocted in Florence by Count Camillo Negroni in 1919, this short and sharp drink is beloved by some and hated by others. We use a generous portion of Beefeater 24 Gin with Campari.
​
SMOKED RUM OLD FASHIONED:
Neptune Rum stirred with Angostura bitters and cane sugar syrup, then engulfed in hickory wood smoke, trapping the golden nectar below. This rum old fashioned is the opposite of the classic giving the sweet notes first then the rum kick after.

Spritz

APEROL SPRITZ:
The Spritz VENEZIANO originated in Venice in the 19th century, evolving into the Aperol Spritz in 1919. This refreshing and flavoursome Aperol based beverage is lengthened with Prosecco.
​
LIMONCELLO SPRITZ:
A light and citrusy take on the traditional Aperol Spritz makes for a perfect daytime summer cocktail. Featuring Limoncello, an Italian Lemon Liqueur made from Vodka.

HUGO SPRITZ:
Light, floral and refreshing. Originally named 'Otto', this modern classic evolved from a lemon balm spritz into the elderflower favourite we know today.
​
ITALICUS SPRITZ:
An aromatic twist on a classic blending Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto with crisp prosecco and a splash of soda. Light, floral and effortlessly elegant.

HACIEN CUCUMBER AND MINT SPRITZ:
Light, crisp, and refreshing. Hacien blanco tequila with sauvignon blanc, agave and lime, lifted with fresh cucumber and mint for a clean cooling finish.

ESPRESSO MARTINI:
"Wake me up then F**k me up!" said the super-model as she unknowingly ordered her first ever Espresso Martini in 1983. This combination of our unique Signature Blend Coffee roasted just for 99&Main and Vodka is guaranteed to produce the desired result.

A stylish, pink Cranberry and Citrus Vodka concoction that was made popular when it became one of 'Carrie Bradshaw and her Sex and The City friends' drinks of choice.

FRENCH MARTINI:
Similar to the Pornstar Martini in its smoothness from Pineapple, but with the addition of Raspberry that blends seamlessly with Vodka in this fruity sipping drink.

PORNSTAR MARTINI:
One of the UK's most popular cocktails, combining Vanilla Vodka with Pineapple and Passionfruit, our recipe is based upon 99&Main's owner spending a night in London with the creator himself, Douglas Ankara.
